Valor by Proxy

This post was not something I set out to write.
I came to this picture (or one like it) and stopped. Who is the old man? Why is he there? Where did
he come from? Is he safe? What are the odds he wants to be with these people?
Did he have a choice? Does he understand what they are, or does he understand much at a age, I first guess is greater than 90? ( he is 95 in the picture 2017)
What the hell is a guy in a security shirt needed for (far Right)? Is it to keep the man there? A rough area?(Subject, is that a "Special Needs" Threeper Creeper? in protective head gear)
I wonder who in that picture is compensating the most? A boy named Sue.
The point of this is, I had a clear observation that these people must have extremely low self worth issues they're trying to ameliorate by repeated attempts to associate themselves with individuals perceived greater than themselves as in the above example.
It does not have to be people, repeated attempts at association with positively viewed groups, or even "idea's" will likely be a defining characteristic of the membership.
I suspect they're toxic for those associating with them, and for groups that let them attach. They may find limited success trying to glum on to "ideas" to hold as a banner and use for cohesiveness, though its not their first choice.
I think/suspect violence, or the threat of it can be expected, if rejection from the first two happen (people/groups). Ideas can't reject them, thus why I predict greater (self imagined) success for them if they focus on that.
I suspect before this year is out (maybe into the next), their group begins to dissolve from the toxic self marinade of hate, paranoia, in fighting, and of course the increasing rejection the members face from Canadian society on the whole.
I suspect they will likely retreat back into their own self reinforcing echo chambers (before collapse), then back into mostly small, isolated regional groups of members. From there, in a couple years, I think one could expect just a couple handfuls of individual members that will just perpetually embarrass themselves. Though what must be noted, is this is now a revenue stream. There will be great motivation to keep the profit from both membership fees and merchandise flowing. How that may extend the life span of the group is unkown.
From a threeper web site:
Dues;
Structure and Allocation
Dues are $30 pr month to be paid on the first of the month. All provincial level Officers pay dues directly to provincial. All patrols keep their dues in house until the patrol reaches 15 members, then 15% is to be forwarded to provincial. Any lll% members in outlying areas that are not members of a patrol or if a patrol has not yet been approved by provincial (see patrol requirements) will pay directly to provincial. All funds are to be allocated through a voting process and typically approved expenses include but are not limited to, equipment and supplies for the patrol, training costs, travel expenses, charitable donations, repairs to facilities, memberships to gun clubs, operational costs, rank insignia, T shirts etc. Provincial will allocate funds for administrative costs, registration (non profit govt fees), insurance, issued kit for members, patches, travel costs, training events, medals and trophies, plaques and commendations etc.

You have read that right, they actually give themselves plaques, medals and trophies, but the point of the above is to show the revenue structure and even a conservative estimate of 2800 members across the country would, generate a revenue stream of 84 000 per month. That is not chicken feed.
